Company Overview
Midwest Hardwood Corporation is a large manufacturer of North American hardwood lumber and value-added hardwood products such as ripped-to-width lumber, flooring strips and lamellas. Our key species are Black Walnut, Hard Maple, White Oak, Red Oak, Cherry, Ash, and Yellow Poplar. We have been FSC certified since 1995 and our entire operation is FSC Certified under our multi-site certification certificate (SW-COC-00008). We understand sawing, kiln drying and providing custom solutions better than most US hardwood lumber manufacturers. Our operations can saw for specific widths, then dry lumber flat and stress relieved for sawing face veneers or other specialty applications. We produce over 235,000m3 annually from our company-owned sawmills. Midwest Hardwood Corporation excels at shipping mixed containers of different species, thicknesses and grades. We are also experienced exporters as we ship over 100 containers per month around the world and have done so since 1990.
